Cloud Services as a Modern Means of Library Resources Storage

Abstract: The purpose of the study: a comprehensive analysis and assessment of the influence of cloud services on libraries wotk as an important factor in their development. The research methodology is based on general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, description, and generalization. Scientific novelty consists in the study of the impact of cloud technologies on storage and access to resources in library. The article examines the main concepts of cloud services and their importance for libraries, as well as the principles of their implementation and advantages over traditional methods of data storage. Conclusions. Cases of successful implementation of cloud technologies in the work of libraries and their impact on the quality of user service are provided. The prospects of using cloud services in the library sphere to ensure efficient storage and access to information are outlined. The formation of cloud storage and spaces for data storage should become an inte gralpart of modern library systems and contribute to the development of the library industry. The concept of a data warehouse is defined as an architectural approach to the storage, organization and management of data in an information system. A data ware house is a centralized or distributed structure that allows you to efficiently store and optimize access to information of a large volume and diverse in structure. Its main purpose is to ensure reliability, speed of access and the ability to analyze data for making strategic decisions. Cloud services provide an opportunity to ensure long-term storage and archiving of digital resources. It is important to ensure the long-term availability of digital materials and preserve their value in the future. The use of cloud services makes it possible to improve the convenience of access to digital resources for users. They can access electronic archives and specialized resources from any Internet-connected device, making them available for distance learning, research and use anywhere, anytime.
