Monitoring Strategies in Information and Analytical Support of the Presidendcy in Times of WarAbstract: The article analyzes the main aspects of information and analytical support of state authorities in wartime conditions, in particular, the dynamics of information support for the institution of the presidency in the context of the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine is monitored. As one of the key institutional subjects of defence policy formation and consolidation of the efforts of the international community in the matter of military aid to Ukraine, the institution of the presidency is considered through the prism of modernin formation creation of its respective competences. The purpose of the articleis to determine the specifics of the functioning of the presidency institute in modern war realities, in particular, the resource provision of the infofield of its activity and the analysis of effective strategies of information monitoring for the formation of analytical data in the process of making management decisions. It was determined that the specifics of the functioning of the political processin the conditions of the introduction of a state of emergency or martial law affect the expansion of powers and the streng thening of the importance of thehead of state in the system of power, therefore, the increase in the information needs of the presidential services during the war naturally requires the optimization of information and analytical support for their activities. The modern information space is oversaturated with arrays of data and resources formaking management decisions, while power institutions lack necessary information for their adoption due to the growing dynamics, increasing volumes, diversity of sources and unstructured data. Possible strategies for implementing information monitoring in modern conditions as well as related obstacles, which arise from the specifics of the functioning of the resources themselves in war conditions, are analyzed. The in effectiveness of the development of unified monitoring strategies is substantiated, taking into account the variability and constant changes in the dynamics of the information space associated with military operations, therefore a situational approach with a combination of appropriate methods is preferred.
