Professional training of marketers in specialty 029 “Information, library and archival work” based on the competence approach

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to consider the peculiarities of the professional training of marketers in specialty 029 "Information, library and archival work" based on the competency approach. Methodological basis. The research methodology is based on a complex of general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, review and analysis, as well as generalization and abstraction, whichmade it possible to identify and generalize the main features, activity tasks and concepts. The scientific novelty of the performed research consists in outlining the tasks of training a marketer in specialty 029 "Information, library and archival work" at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. The obtained results form a system idea about the model of professional training of marketers based on the competence approach. Conclusions. The training of marketers at the KyivNational University of Culture and Arts in the specialty 029 "Information, libraryand archival business" is an organizational mechanism for the training of marketing bachelors who, based on the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities, will be able to carry out effective professional activities and carry out qualitative transformations in later life economy of Ukraine, because the proposed model of training marketers is based on certain competencies and requirements of the modern labor market.
