Key aspects of modern documentary and information provision of health promotion

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to highlight the key aspects of document and information provision for health promotion in modern crisis conditions. The methodology is based on the use of the basics of the socio-communication approach, methods of analysis and synthesis. The scientific novelty is that the actual problems of document and information provision of health promotion related to insufficiently effective document and information system of provision of health promotion are determined; directions that will contribute to increasing the effectiveness of health promotion are substantiated. Conclusions. The intensification of health promotion measures through library activities and a set of programs and measures to inform communities about health preservation in crisis conditions, offered on the basis of their foundations, are reflected. The document and information resources that make up the document and information base of health promotion have been determined. Modern document and information support for health promotion is a system of organizational, technical and information measures aimed at the collection, processing, storage, transfer and use of document and information resources, with the aim of ensuring the availability and quality of medical information for health promotion and health care. Features of document and information support for health promotion, caused by modern challenges and crisis conditions, are related to: processes of digitalization of society and the need to introduce new promotion standards, conduct relevant educational and informational activities, as well asensure confidentiality and information security.
