Dating of Handwriting Books of the seventeenth century from the Collection of the Church and Archaeological Museum at the Kyiv Theological Academy from the Institute of Manuscript, V. I. Vernadsky National Library of UkraineAbstract: The paper deals with the problem of dating Cyrillic handwriting books of the seventeenth century in the collection of the Church and Archaeological Museum at the Kyiv Theological Academy (Fund 301), which now is in the collection of the Institute of Manuscripts of Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. These books are the unique sources of the manuscript heritage of the specified period, and they are represented in the scientific archeographic catalog compiled by O. Lebedev and M. Petrov. Archeographic descriptions made by O. Lebedev (1916) is a continuation of a number of studies conducted by M. Petrov (1875-1879). Undated Cyrillic handwritten books of the seventeenth century, which do not bear exact dating codicological information, were taken as the object of the study. Represented handwritten books areunattributed and unresearched yet, so the purpose of the presented intelligenceis to introduce them into the scientific and informational space. Most of them are the parts of the composited various genres and various time collections of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. According to the modern advances of codicology, archeology, filigranology, it became possible to review critically the data of descriptions, which brought new results. After all, an our days definition of the exact date of writing manuscript sources made on modern scientific bases, also contributes to a deeper study of the national historical and cultural heritage. The study of the proposed handwritten sources is accompanied by the setting the history of origin and where abouts, as well as a detailed filigree analysis of the manuscripts. The analysis of the codices was carriedout against the background of the comprehensive preparation of the future scientific catalog of Cyrillic manuscript books of the seventeenth century in the collection of the Church and Archaeological Museum at the Kyiv Theological Academy.
