Abstract: The main features of the evolution of a human society nowadays are characterized in this article. It is also analyzed the main aspects and trends of the current social transformation and it is explored the role of information resources in the current globalization processes as well as their impact on the processes of social and cultural transformation of human society as a whole and in Ukrainian society particulary.
