Abstract: The article studies some directions, forms and principles of library operations that ensure access to legal information and information-analytical support of legislative activities. Also, considered approaches to improve the legal awareness by the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine (National Law Library) and the Law Library of Library of Congress.
