Abstract: The paper deals with the basic model of e-government, received by countries practical implementation, it defines the theoretical-applied features and specific of usage of benchmarking as a method of finding and implementing the best practices of e-government. The dependence of constructing optimal models of e-governance on key indicators of e-readiness countries is proved.
