Abstract: Analysis of one of the corporate project of the International Association Music Libraries – RIPM (Retrospective Index to Music Periodicals = Répertoire internationalde la presse musicale), covering the period from 1759 to 1962. The project RIPM involves more than 20 countries, RIPM database provides information on 201 musicmagazine. RIPM indexes content magazines, articles, press reviews, bibliographies, iconography and advertising contained in the pages of music periodicals. Information is available on-line (including full-text mode), provided more than 705.000 annotated records.
