Abstract: Components of the development of Internet technologies, what created prerequisites for appearing of library blogs, are described. This article analyses the results of a survey carried out on 139 Ukrainian library blogs in August 2013. Several aspects were examined: year of creation, platform used, date of last publication, number of posts and visibility by search engines.
