Abstract: The article describes the ranking technology of popularity of websites by Alexa Rank index. The article considers the chronology of the process of formation of content of the Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine in universal thematic and species aspects for the last 20 years, what contributes the achieving of high indicators in rankings of various website analyzers.
