The Role and Capabilities of National Libraries in the Process of Socialization of Information

Abstract: The article considers issues of process of informational socialization in modern society, reveals a number of transformation aspects of the social interactions’ system nowadays, and related with this perspectives, particularly in the context of library institutions’ practice. Proper attention was given to the important issues of adaptation the most vulnerable groups – children and seniors – to the modern media environment, in view of the fact that they have special social needs for the full functioning in the realities of the post-industrial era. Also were analyzed the existing forms of library work, it’s potentially possible work’s formats towards the formation the people information culture and instilling important skills of orientation in the Modern Information Space.
