The Development of the National Information Space: Current Issues

Abstract: The article is devoted to organizational and legal issues of information security of the state in the context of globalization and increasing negative impacts on national information resources. Attention is given to the activities of the state to promote national production of information, improve the efficiency of the using of information resources, improve the legal framework aimed at promoting development of the information potential of all the levers of state and nation building. It addresses the need to strengthen the coordination of efforts of public and private sectors for effective use of information resources. It is noted that the efficiency of interaction of the information sector can be increased, subject to the consolidation of the participants around the important purposes, with the relevant legislative support, the creation of legal and economic incentives and a high level of responsibility of the subjects of the information sector in the implementation of the urgent tasks.
