The Creation of Information Resources for Scientific Support for Gender Studies

Abstract: The article analyzes the experience of creating gender-based information resource libraries. Investigated the activities of both for eign and do mestic libraries in this direction. The a spects of the optimization of such work, the need for coordination with government a gencies , research dealing with gender studies and non-governmental organizations. Draws attention to the need for the exchange of experience between women’s libraries, archives and documentation and information center for women’s and gender history.
