Using of Information-Communicative Technoljgies in Ukrainian Libraries

Abstract: Using of information-communicative technologies in the activity of libraries in Ukraine is really a demand of modern life. Nowdays it is impossible to provide the equal accesse of all citizens in the funds of any library without information-communicate means. For using such kind of technologies it is necessary to have suitable technological maintenance of Ukrainian libraries. Libraries, which have already got the status of analytical – research establishment, have to possess digital resources. It is necessary to fill seriously the information site of the library, do carefully its formats, control, renewing and ensure the convenience of its using. Making information environment of the library it is necessary provide an access to both native and world information resources. Besides providing an accesse to resources, libraries also have to provide the possibility to use information on-line from payed resources of leading information establishment of the world. For qualitative using of information-communicative technologies it is very important to improve the work of libraries and to have there high qualitied workers. They are mediators between producers and users of information. The people who work at the library have to provide information-bibliography service oj users, use skillfully information-search language, technical possibilities of automation system. All library’s activity has to be directed to make its services widly using and competitive comparing with services which are provided by commercial structures. Further introducing and improving of information-communicative technologies will lead to creation of new methods of work with electron massives and to will make positive changes in all structure section of modern library.
