Razvazhaiev Artem System analysis model SaaS (software as a service) and the using for electronic library and information centersAbstract: The delivery of the software (SW) as a service SaaS (software as a service) is one of the most promising trend of corporate information systems in librarianship in the new economic reality. SaaS is a model of the software implementation in which the supplier develops and independently manages a web application providing customers or readers using it through the internet. The main advantage of the SaaS for consumers is absence of costs for installation, upgrading and support of software and purchase an equipment for its deployment. Under the concept of SaaS the payment is made not for the possession of such decisions as, but for its lease ie for the using through a web interface. Thus, in contrast to the classical scheme of software licensing the costs are comparatively low. The periodic payment scheme assumes that if the need for software is temporarily absent you can stop using it and freeze payments to the developer. That is why the SaaS-production is very resistant to crises. The question of general using the SaaS in electronic library and information centers is actual. Whereas in our country the SaaS services are recommended not enough yet, there is a problem of promoting the technology to the market of scientific, library and information area.
