Multicultural Digital Resources of the USA, Canada and Australia

Abstract: The article is devoted to the work of main libraries of the USA, Canada and Australia in the field of integrated digital multicultural resources creation, and their importance for the development of culture and science of these countries and nations. Main features of projects, digital collections and sources including books, archival documents, manuscripts, maps, audio and video materials and the like are covered in the article. The success of projects is guaranteed by the corporate efforts of various institutions, public organizations and individuals in financing and implementing common technologies, methods, and standards. This provides for a wide range of opportunities speeding up information exchange and attracting network users around the world.
