Convergent Processes in Modern Information Space: Transformations of Texts, Practices, Hierarchies

Abstract: The paper presents the research of media convergence phenomenon as the process of merge of means of traditional mass information and communication into single information resource. The thesis about the nonlinear character of modern media development and the produced texts are proved. The transformation of information space as the planes communicative as well as sociocultural practices is considered. The subjects of scientific interest are the new tendencies of production and transformation of meanings, representations of values, limit of communicative science and wide-ranging sociocultural studies crossing.
