Classification Analysis of Medical Industry Records in Ukraine

Abstract: The article reveals the importance of classification for records ordering and analyzes the classification schemes developed by record studies researchers. Sources devoted to this problem are considered from the point of view of their conditional division into two generalizing groups according to the aspects of records differentiation. Within the first, the general classification schemes are characterized, while the second is dedicated to specific record studies devoted to certain types of records. The traditional construction of the records classifications on the facet-block structure is substantiated because of its complexity, that is, the ability to take into account a multitude of features simultaneously characterizing both the material carrier of the record and the sign system of information fixation. The project of medical records classification, that accounts their specific features, acts as a tool for providing industrial information, designed to improve the organization of information and analytical activities in the medical field, is proposed.

Keywords: records classification, medical records, medical industry.
