Abstract: In the article on the example of the activity of the scientific-information department of the T. H. Shevchenko Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine considers the integration processes of academic libraries. The main elements highlighted the integration into a single world information space, the scientific life of institutions, integration with people, professional associations / networks / associations.
