Bibliometrics Profiles in Scientometrics

Abstract: The emergence of a new phenomenon of the system of scientific communication – bibliometrics profiles – is considered. Their functions – such as: scientific declaration, structural analysis and scientometrics functions – are defined. It is recommended to consider them as one of the starting points of the theoretical development of science, which includes significant opportunities, ways and means of practical implementation. Examples of creating bibliometric profiles in separate databases are given. The possibilities of realization of the information-analytical system, which would become the united registry of scientists’ scientific declarations (bibliometrics profiles) and serve as the base for expert evaluation of research activity’s effectiveness are offered.
