Major Trends of Integrating of Scientifi c Bibliographic Information Resources: Typology and Principles of Organization

Abstract: The typology and principles of the implementation of integrated electronic resources on the principle of their localization and coverage of target audience are considered. The tendencies of scientific bibliographic information resources of various conceptual types to integration are revealed. The analysis makes it possible to conclude that Ukraine’s leading libraries are mostly moving in line with the world trends: their resources are integrated into universal electronic libraries, scientific achievements of employees are reflected in professional social networks, and a number of scientific citation indexing services; internally implemented corporate projects for the creation of integrated full-text knowledge bases, in particular, at sectoral levels.
