Bibliometric Systems as an Instrument of Monitoring and Support Studies

Abstract: With the development of new information technologies new approaches to the creation and dissemination of information and knowledge embodied in their lives by creating intellectual products and new solutions are launched. Today intensive development of the information society and increased public demand for qualitative information have caused increasing general public interest in the problem of bibliometric research definition. Objective assessment of efficiency of bibliometric research, increase or termination of funding is closely associated with the choice of criteria that determine the effectiveness of the research organizations and individual researchers.
