Representation and Work of Libraries on Wiki-Projects

Abstract: The article deals with the research of representation and work of libraries on wiki-projects as perspective form of cooperation libraries with users. It is defined that it is possible to consider wiki technologies as one offer new opportunities to communication in library sphere as the instrument of users’ cooperation in Network. The main attention is concentrated on highlighting directions of use of wiki technology by libraries. Specifics and the main current trends of development of library wiki-projects in conditions of collaborative technologies distribution are covered. Perspective activities of library in the context of users involvement to creation of library and user resources are defined.
