Features of Political Communication in Modern Ukraine in the Conditions of Development of Information Society

Abstract: The practice of power and political communications in modern Ukraine is analyzed. The feature of this practice is inadequate use by the authorities of communicative opportunities available in relations with civil society. Thus, problematic aspects in this sphere have been identified, and it requires careful examination to achieve optimal results of interaction between the state and society, especially in the context of crisis situations in the country (similar to the one which Ukraine currently experiences).

Keywords: political communication, public, power, crisis, information technologies.
