Comics Book as a Product of Informational Culture

Abstract: The paper deals with the concept of comics as a product of informational culture, a drawn story or story in pictures. The emphasis is on the fact that graphic stories could be considered not only as a subspecies (additions) of any of literature genres, but as a complete information product or even a kind of art. It is stated that today comic books have become the subject of study in various fields of knowledge. Comics place as a graphic novel in the information environment of Ukraine is considered.
