Informative Basis for Modern Development: Reference-points of Perfection

Abstract: The article discusses the basic principles of enrichment of library collections, which are an important component of the national information basis for social development in the context of the development of global informatization. It is important to develop new methods of acquisition in the terms of the development of information society. The problem of library institutions orientation in the growing arrays of new electronic information, the need to select information necessary for national development are considered. Importance of taking into account the main trends in the development of society in the process of forming the necessary information resource to ensure the evolution of nations in the context of increasing globalization processes is in focus. Ensuring opportunities for citizens’ access to important information resources and information are necessary for the development of individual and society.
