Theoretical and Mеthodical Aspects of the Library Socio-Communicative Research of Economic Narratives of a Transformational Society

Abstract: The paper substantiates the feasibility of socio-communicative study of the economic narratives of transformational society based on resources of a scientific library. It is the analysis of the various sources of information that the library has at its disposal that makes it possible to explore the content of such narratives. The theoretical and methodological aspects of such research are considered using various communication models as a tool for analysis of economic narratives. The experience of socio-communicative study of narratives is presented on the example of specific publications in the media devoted to the problems of migration. The practice of using economic narratives by some political organizations as a means to influence voters in presidential and parliamentary elections has been analyzed.

Keywords: economic narrative, information, communication models, narrative, social communications, social and communicative research, transformational society.
