New 3R version of the international standard «Resource Description and Access, RDA»

Abstract: The new international cataloguing standard «Resource Description and Access» has have already its revision history. The most significant changes to the RDA standard were made with the introduction of the Restructure and Redesign Project (known as the 3R Project). It resulted in standard restructuring and redesigning, harmonization with other IFLA functional models. Except the review of foreign publications in the focus of the article is the characteristic of these changes. The author is also outlines the tasks of the Ukrainian libraries in translating and implementing the RDA.
