Abstract: The purpose of the study. The aim of the study. Based on the analysis of information and statistical sources to consider the main trends in the formation of the library fund of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine Ukrainian-language publications in accordance with state policy to strengthen the Ukrainian language as a state. Methodology is based on the use of general scientific and special research methods using structural and functional and comparative statistical analysis. Scientific novelty. The role of libraries in the implementation of state policy in the field of development of information and linguistic culture of society for the implementation of the requirements of the linguistic Law of Ukraine on the example of the formation of the Library Fund V. I. Vernadskyі National Library of Ukraine Ukrainian language editions. Practical meaning. The study of accounting documents on printed information resources to V. I. Vernadskyі National Library of Ukraine for 2018-2020 and revealed the tendency of the dynamics of in creasing the share of documents in Ukrainian. Results of the research. In connection with the lack of funding to V. I. Vernadskyі National Library of Ukraine on replenishment of the Library Fund in recent years, the main source of its increase was free of charge from domestic publishing houses, the refore structural changes in new revenues are entirely dependent on the fulfillment of the requirements of the linguistic law by these publishing houses. Conclusions. On the basis of the monitoring of the recharge of the Library Fund, the domestic printed publications in the last three year shave been revealed a tendency to increase the share of Ukrainian-language publications in new revenues, indicating the effectiveness of the requirements of the Law on the support of the Ukrainian language by promoting its use in public spheres of life and support of the state language in the information space.
