Strategies of the world library community regarding the integration of artificial intelligence into the library field

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to investigate the strategies, viewpoints and approaches of international library organizations and leading foreign library communitie sregarding the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into library activities, as well asthe analysis of initiatives and actions aimed at promoting the implementation of AI. The research methodology is based on systemic and structural approaches, methods of logical and structural-functional analysis, case-study method, scientific objectivity, generalization, website content monitoring and content analysis. Scientific novelty. The scientific novelty of this study lies in the comprehensive examination of visions, strategies, and measures implemented by authoritative library organizations for the effective integration of artificial intelligence into library operations, along with its subsequent impact on the transformation of the Library Field. In conclusion, this study sheds light on the perspectives and strategies of international library organizations towards the integration of artificial intelligence into library operations. The analysis of initiatives aimed at promoting AI implementation, alongside the examination of international case studies, underscores the significance of this technological advancement. Ultimately, this paper not only recognizes the inevitability of AI integration but also highlights the proactive role that authoritative library organizations play in shaping the future of library services through technological transformation.
