Ihnatiuk Maryna Problems and prospects of library-information service of agricultural sector Ukraine under local government reform (On the example of Zhytomyr region)Abstract: The article presents the evaluation, describes the problems and perspectives of library-information services in the agricultural sector of Ukraine in terms of local government reform (for example, the decentralization of power to Zhytomyr region). The range of problems of library-information services of the agricultural sector of Ukraine in the conditions of decentralization of power is analysed. A new concept “Distribution of agricultural knowledge” is entered and its basic tasks are defined. The use of potential of libraries of agricultural direction for development of agriculture in Ukraine will allow to provide users reliable, scientifically reasonable and approved information, that takes into account national and regional specific. The article grounds the prospect of development of library-information services of agricultural sector in the conditions of the reform of local self-government on the example of Zhytomyr region, that will allow to bring down negative influence during realization of the reform. Now for Zhytomyr region the main part of environment of distribution of agricultural knowledge is Association of agricultural libraries as corporate library-informative system combined on branch and administrative-territorial signs.
