Tsybulska Olena The collection of rare records from funds of Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine: specific methods of attribution and the bibliographic descriptionAbstract: Records are stored in the department of music VNLU funds. Number of rare records is about 500. The purpose of this article is to analyze the features of the scientific description and attribution of the earliest records in accordance with current bibliographic standards. Example scientific description supplied by the recording in 1906 of Ukrainian-Polish singer Adam Didur. For bibliographication old records is used a direct and decode information from the plate mirror (ID production number), the label information (describing the title, statement of responsibility, the name of the output etc.), from other sources (catalogs of companies, information from trusted sources The Internet). Particular attention is to create a scientific description historic shellac should be given to the creation of additional access points.
