Document management on-line (From experience of introduction in the branch of archives)

Abstract: On the example of the State archive of Kiev region the situation which developed after implementation of the universal electronic document management system as it turned out that she isn't able to service all aspects of activities of archive establishment is analyzed. Аrguments are adduced, why to solve this issue have been adapted SaaS technology that allowed for the first time in the archival branch of Ukraine to implement document management by way of on-line using the functionality of DMS Polidar of information-communications system «POLIDAR». The functional capabilities of a set of the developed tools in the form of the subject electronic logs oriented on the archive sphere are in details considered, in particular, features of their application by archivists in professional activity. Experience of implementation in archive establishments of Kiev region of document management on-line is analyzed, conclusions are drawn.
